The goal of this project is to pick a tale and transform it into an illustrated miniature. In my miniature, I wanted to illustrate Deer Woods story from its main place, Bubsy’s house, with all the most critical actions occurring in the background. Inside the house, you can see the main elements mentioned in the story: the mirror, the books, and the fireplace. I wanted Bubsy and the ghost to be my focal points, so I illustrated them using brighter colors. The ghost’s color scheme was near Bubsy’s, to reflect that the ghost was just a reflection of Bubsy’s fears. Furthermore, I relied on low saturated shades of blue to have a more bleak atmosphere.
