The main objective of this project was to design and animate an album cover for a song from our choice. I chose Jumpsuit by Twenty-One Pilots. The song is a metaphor for struggling either with a mental illness or stress. I wanted to mimic Twenty One Pilots consistent style and identity and reflect their album's vibes in my design. The Illustrations and color scheme were inspired by Jumpsuit's music video. Since it is a metaphor and both the video and lyrics have a non-directmessage, everyone might have a different understanding. By illustrating the canyon, I'm referring to Tyler's escape, and the horse rider, bishop, was the struggles he faced. I relied on the wiggly effect while animating with the transitions from illustration to another to reflect struggling and surviving.
